    Description

    A vintage handheld fan that features a litho print on the front of a cottage - house / mill on a stream /river - a rural village scene
    At the very bottom of the picture the following words are printed: "Handle Pat. Applied For". This may date the fan to be from the late 1930s /early 1940s. This is also consistent with information on the Rhodes - Perdue Furniture Company that is being advertised:  Rhodes - Perdue Furniture Company - "Complete House Furnishers" of Thomaston and Manchester in Georgia.

    The fan measures approximately 12 inches from the top of the cardboard to the bottom tip of the wooden stick. The cardboard litho / advertising ad approximately measures 7.25 inches x 7.75 inches.
