Vintage Vogue GINNY Doll in Outfit Name: This is a Ginny Doll By Vogue, however I am unsure of her name or which time period she is from. I tried to locate her information in my reference book, but unfortunately I could not find her. Her outfit is not tagged as "Vogue" although it looks correct according to the style and plastic shoes are marked Hong Kong; but since I am not an expert you as the buyer will have to use your expertise. Condition: The doll and outfit are in great condition with light wear. The bloomers do not appear to have elastic, sleeve elastic is loose, her shoes have a split in the back of 1 shoe and she is missing her socks. The dress and bloomers are clean & UNWASHED, still looks newer! Her hat is really the best part! Its a glossy black straw hat with vintage pale pink flowers and a bow which is stapled on. It has a hole near the front and the flowers have some wear and surface dust- typical. Due to this item's age please expect a tiny hole or two that I may have missed. Her head moves side to side when you move her legs (walker) and her arms are slightly loose. Her hair is still curled and her bangs have 1 area which is out place- minor. Size: Doll is approximately 8" tall

I was given new information that this doll is probably a Ginny type clone doll by Virga creations 1957, however I am unsure of her name or which time period she is from.  This source said, "The
outfit is a 1957 VIRGA outfit shown on page 209 in the book "Small Dolls of the 40s & 50s" by Carol Stover. The black felt vest snaps in front on this outfit."

USPS First class international is more economical however it takes a much longer period of time and does not include package tracking but I will include insurance for certain countries with Auctiva/UPic for. .  Each used item is given a complete once-over  & wrapped with care because I believe, "Used doesn't have to feel like it!!"
Although my home is smoke & pet hair free, most of my resale items are from estate & garage sales, auctions and resale stores; in most cases I do not know the entire history of the item or items.  However, I will list exactly what I notice about the condition or any offensive odors the item might have.  Most stored items will have musty or mothball scent; I rarely buy items with a scent of smoke.  Whenever possible the item will be aired out for a few days & sprayed with disenfectant spray or cleaned and sanitized to the best of my ability (I am neither a professional dry cleaner nor do I take the items to be professionally laundered).  Fabric or clothing items: are washed and lightly ironed with sizing starch to help rejuvenate their overall appearance.
I try to list all MAJOR flaws.  Please do not bid if you have expectations of  a near mint item  because everyone's perception regarding condition is different.
So, when bidding just assume it will have normal age wear and flaws.  This auction is "as is" and I will not accept returns or give price adjustments.
Please remember I am not an expert on anything that I sell; I try to research basic information to correctly categorize items.   I expect you to be the expert and to ask the questions that are pertinent to you. I will point out the surface flaws as I see them but anything more in depth will be left up to you to question. In most cases, I do not repair any items before listing (unless otherwise noted).
