Up for sale, Pretty Rare, 1987? Burnside, by GUILD, HSS Fender SUPER, Stratocaster copy.Looks like serial number 870008, hard to read , but its there. There is not a lot of information out there on these, other than they were made only for a few years in Korea, for GUILD, 86-88? Has nice maple fretboard, frets have minor wear. I believe it's all original, Nice bright red finish. Has a few minor chips, dings, and scrapes, a small engraved, black heart on the back about 1-1/2, in? but, all in all in nice original, very presentable, condition for its age. Has nice action, in my opinion, probably need to be setup to new owners preference. pots are a little scratchy, but function. IMO plays fantastic, and It can easily stand up to its much more expensive rivals. no whammy bar. here is your opportunity to get a Rare, nice playing, original made for GUILD guitar. These are getting harder to find, ive seen the more common, Blades, Cutlass,Hammer, etc, models with the Ugly, {IMHO}, pointy headstock and lousy locking tremolos. This is just a plain, Burnside, by Guild, looks almost identical to the GUILD USA, DETONATOR model, from the same era without the hefty price! This has the more traditional, fender style headstock, maple neck, bridge tremolo setup/with HSS configuration. i bought this to mod, it, its just too original. if it doesnt sell, i probably will. I have too many parts,projects, time to let some go to someone who will enjoy them!
