Please email with any questions. Vintage tri-part cardboard hand fan that expands to 10 1/4" across and is 7" high. The color litho illustration is called "The Dream House". The back advertises Sarno Pastry Shop with locations in Los Angeles and Chicago. The North Vermont Avenue address and phone number are for the LA location that closed in 2000 after 54 years. It was located in Los Feliz. According to one of many sites I found online, the family moved to Los Angeles around 1946 but maintained the Chicago location that had opened in 1920 for a while- I think this fan falls into that late 40's-early 50's era. The fan shows its age a little- some slight soiling, edge wear, slight crease on the center front section.
