For sale is a vintage 1910 Advertising Fan for the Cafe Martin in New York City
This is a beautiful fan with detailed and colorful graphics of an air show with several images of what appear to be experimental or hand built planes in the sky and crowds of people and a grand stand in the background. The fan measures approx. 17 inches wide when open and 9 1/2 inches long when closed. On the back it says it was scented with perfume, but there is no smell now.
This advertising fan is in very nice vintage condition. It does have small tears/splits in the paper in the upper and lower portions of the folds. There is also wear to the finish on the wood portions of the fan. Please also refer to the pictures in this auction as they are part of the description.
