DATING TO THE 1890’S - 1900
FASHIONED OF BROWN PAPER WITH THE TOP HAVING A POLISHED WOOD STICK AND STRING TO BE USED AS A SPOOL TO WIND IT UP.
SEVERAL LENGTHS OF PAPER THAT ARE JOINED TOGETHER AND GETS INCREASINGLY MORE NARROW AS IT COMES DOWN TO THE TAIL END.
HAND DRAWN UNUSUAL ANTIQUE ARTWORK THROUGHOUT.
INCLUDED IS THE LETTER FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER WITH THE IDENTIFCATION OF THE PIECE.
CONDITION
:  SMALL FOXED WEAR IS SEEN TO THE RED EDGE AT SMALL POINTS, ESPECIALLY ALONG THE BOTTOM WITH ONE SEAM TOT EH PAPER THAT HAS COME UNDONE.  IT IS EASILY TACKED BACK INTO PLACE.  IT IS SURPRISINGLY SOFT AND IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION EVEN THOUGH IT IS OVER 120 YEARS OLD.
