It’s worth every penny and will increase in value. I need to sell a few guitars. If the others sells first I’m keeping this one. Don’t want to sell any of them. Super rare and beautiful guitar. Sounds unreal.
Only 85 made in 1997. This Taylor 714 bce is rare and comes from the golden age of Taylor guitars. The gorgeous Brazilian rosewood and cedar top make for a very clear, rich and warm tone. The inlays are the early artisan inlays which where only on the 900 series at this time. Fishman Electronic’s work well. The top has a Very small mark around sound hole from pick and 1-2 inch finish crack that also but it’s been fixed by Taylor guitar here in El Cajon. Has few light pick marks around soundhole in last pictures and one pen head dot size mark on top also pictured. This guitar is in fantastic condition after 21 years. You’d be hard pressed to find a better example from something that has been played. Very well cared for. So rare there isn’t much info online. Around the sound hole you can see very small and . That’s being picky about it.
