ROBERT'S LOOPED SIDE WRAP VERTICAL FENCE STAY - ANTIQUE BARBED BARB BOBBED WIRE

Description

This listing is for an authentic vintage sample of an antique wire fence stay.  This stay features an A.E.Roberts patent,dated April 24, 1906.  This stay knot is called "Robert's Looped Side Wrap Stay Knot" by collectors.  (ref. Sowles No. 216).    This stay is on a single line wire.  Knot is made from a single round line wire.  Wire is bent into a "U" shape, and placed against vertical line, and both ends wrapped together around the line wire.  Sample shows age and use wear with light pitting.  There are no breaks or repairs.  Stay sample is in good used condition.
