  • Condition: There is wear to the silverplate on the base of one with the copper showing through and please see pic #4. The telescoping feature works well on both and they both open and close fully but one does not stay all the way up when telescoped and please see pic #6. Otherwise, no issues. No monograms or removals. No pings, dings, dents, or disfiguring scratches. Stand straight and true on the tabletop, not crooked and not wobbly. Display very well as the pics show.

    Very nice pair of early 19th century Old Sheffield Silverplate Candlesticks from a local Dallas estate.
    These have the telescoping feature such that you can vary their height and please compare pic #1 and pic #6.
    Guaranteed real Old Sheffield plate and not any type of reproduction pieces or electroplated pieces and check out the pics and know that you won't be disappointed.
    Probably date ca. the 1825 - 1850 era.
    There is a numeric mark inside the candle-cups as shown in pic #11 and they are otherwise unmarked.
    Measure about 8" tall in the closed position and please also see tape measure pics.
