The only thing "standard" is the traditional center sound hole design. This model features a highly figured, solid, superbly matched gloss flamed Koa top. Just like all Celebrity models, this guitar just feels right thanks to the effortlessly playable satin-finish neck, the 10" radius fretboard, and the way the solid Koa top responds. The center sound hole gives back clear and loud resonance thanks to scalloped-X bracing support.
For live performance, this model includes an Ovation Slimline pickup and OP-4CT preamp system with a three-band EQ and onboard tuner. The super shallow, Lyrachord® composite body is likely the most comfortable body style available, and the sound projection is both loud and clear.
All that and you’ll also look great playing this beautiful guitar. The gloss flamed Koa top is gorgeous and the tasteful ivory white binding on the body and neck really sets it off. There’s a really sharp abalone inset rosette and fret marker dots, shiny chrome hardware, and a slick exotic lacquered head stock layer. This great guitar comes with a great way to protect it while transporting or storing it, an Ovation Super Shallow Zero Gravity Case. The Zero Gravity Foamcore case is extremely lightweight while offering superior protection compared to a gig bag against falls, drops and other perils. The foam core is molded to fit the Ovation super shallow bowl perfectly. It features several zippered pockets on the outside, plus a formed compartment with lid on the inside. This is basically a hard shell case without the hard shell, offering excellent protection against bumps, drops and spills.
