Original Vintage clothing, Western Red bib-front men's shirt

Description

Rare piece of American frontier clothing is the classic red bib front shirt. Fabricated of wool, this example has the small, early bib with 9 red wool covered buttons. Collar tips are snapped down, long sleeves have replaced buttons. Yoke is pointed center back design, shirt tails are long, rounded with side slits. All machine sewn in French seams. This colorful shirt is seen in many photos of frontier men and cowboys and would fit well into any American frontier display. Overall condition is very good with a few repaired holes, with darning thread but does not detract from overall look of this rare shirt.
