Larrivée Custom LV-09E Acoustic Electric Guitar 12 Fret LR Baggs Anthem

Description

A finger pickers dream, this may be the Larrivée you've been waiting for. Custom shop upgrades including the 12 fret neck body join, Snakewood bindings, Alpine Spruce top, Herringbone purfling, Wing Bridge inlay and Charis custom Ebony tuner buttons would push the street price well over the 00 range if ordering new. Overall condition is a minimum 9.5/10.0. The previous owner removed the pickguard as this guitar has been used for fingerstyle playing.
The cutaway provides easy access to the high registers despite the 12 fret neck join.
Upon very close inspection under bright light just a few faint scratch marks are detectable below the soundhole but unable to photograph. Apart from this the guitar is close to perfect. Any other anomalies seen in the pics are either camera glare or dust specks. It plays perfectly up and down the neck with low action and no buzzing issues. There are no structural issues of any kind. As for tone, joining the neck to the body of this guitar moves the bridge slightly forward on the top placing the bridge in the "sweet spot", the sound comes through the top with greater volume and clarity while at the same time being well balanced.  For natural amplification the guitar features a LR BAggs Anthem pickup. The Anthem has all of the essential tools in one complete system. The feather-weight preamp and controls include: volume, mix, phase and a battery check. The mix control blends from the augmented TRU•MIC position to Element pickup only. Last but not least a Larrivée Deluxe hardshell case in great condition is included in the sale.
