Even though Ibanez is thought of as a modern guitar brand, we have decades of accumulated knowledge and a history of pushing the boundaries. The AZ series carries with it all of the hallmarks of these tried and tested Ibanez qualities: the smooth oval neck grip, the well balanced asymmetrical body shape, and the neck heel allowing unrivaled playability.
Super All Access Neck Joint
The Super All Access Neck Joint offers superior playability with its 8mm concave curve from the body top to the spherical surface of the joint area. By maximizing the joint area between the body and the neck, sustain and resonance are increased as well.
Introduced in 2018 as part of the AZ series of solid-body electric guitars, the AZ224F follows decades of Ibanez design experience. Meant to move beyond current boundaries in playability and sound, the guitar has a fast, live oval-"C" profile roasted maple neck on a lightweight basswood body and Hyperion pickups developed by Seymour Duncan.

Seymour Duncan® Hyperion™ Pickups feature a moderate output through Alnico-5 magnets to keep the clarity of the fundamental tone when using a distortion sound, and to deliver a clear pick attack. From treble to bass, the overall tonal balance is evenly adjusted., and works well with various effect pedals.
The revolutionary dyna-MIX 9 switching system offers up 9 different possible pickup configurations and the Gotoh T1502 tremolo bridge, made expressly for Ibanez offers excellent tuning stability and resonance.

My Factory 2nd guitars and basses are a tremendous value. These guitars are often sold at hundreds of dollars less than their 'new' counterparts. Factory 2nd guitars are deemed as such directly from the manufacturer and have never been previously sold in retail or distributed to a music store. They are marked as a 2nd by the manufacturer when they fail to pass final inspection. They usually have a minor cosmetic finishing flaw that prevents them from being sold as new instruments.
These instruments do not have major flaws (UNLESS STATED).   These blemishes do not affect the playability of the instruments at all.
Apart from the defect listed they are perfect, all the electronics, pickups, tuners, neck and frets etc. are good.
I buy my guitars and basses directly from the manufacturer.
There is no manufactures warranty and sometimes it is difficult to identify why some of these guitars were marked as seconds.
Each instrument gets set up and checked by me before it is released for sale. Some of the models are discontinued and have no issues at all. Instruments are stamped with an S on the back of the headstock.
