I bought the amulet from a Tibetan who lives in exile in Boudha in Nepal.
The Tibetan amulet resembles the shape of a Gau, but cannot be opened! The very typical Tibetan amulet is used to protect against evil. The beautiful yellow stone (amber) is artfully set in coin silver both in the front and in the back. Beautiful lotus ornaments have been engraved into the silver! 5 coral and turquoise stones are worked into the silver.
