Great Photo of Cowboy with Prize Winning Steer

I recently purchased a collection of 19th century photos from Texas and Western states. Some very nice and rare images in this collection. I'll be listing these over the next couple of weeks.
Neat photo of a cowboy who has badges or pins on his vest holding a lead rope on a lean steer with wide horns. Appears to be at a stockyard or livestock show. The photo has a light tone, likely due to a sunny day when the exposure was taken. Some stray marks on the photo. Card is water stained on the left side and the card has a bend in the upper left corner.
The square photo itself measures measures 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches mounted to a card measuring 7 3/4 x 7 3/4 inches.
