Fostec ACE I Fiber Optic Illuminator +  Ring light + adapter for StereoZoom 7
This system has been configured by TechTulz for optimal optical matching of the Fostec ACE I light source to the fiber optic ring light. This results in light output about 2 times the OEM configuration.
The light source is labeled with a private brand (Morrell), the manufacturer’s label on the bottom shows that it is part of Fostec’s ACE I line. The large 11 mm diameter Dyonics fiber optic ring concentrates the light in the field of view at the typical working distance of the StereoZoom 7 microscope. The system provides the very high light output required  high magnification stereo microscopes like the StereoZoom 7 for critical inspection or photomicrography.  Excellent color rendition, not the off-color light typical of LED illuminators. Twice the light of a new similar system at less than half the cost.
The fiber optic is 34 inches long.
This illuminator has been cleaned inside and out, inspected, and tested.

At typical working distance for B&L StereoZoom 7  >20,800 foot candles (223,000 lux)
Includes: light source, fiber optic ring light, adapter for mounting to Bausch & Lomb StereoZoom 7.

Please note: lamp life depends on the output setting and the line voltage at your facility. For the tungsten halogen lamp in this unit, reducing the output setting to about 90% increases the anticipated life time by about 400%. Setting the dial to the 75 to 80% point will increase lamp life ~10 times. Performance of the light source in this item is guaranteed, lamp life is not.
