    Description

    Old Antique form fitter style saddle made by E. C. Lee of Pierre, South Dakota, #600--my saddle book says he had been in business in 1927 for 20 years and I do not know when shop closed
    the saddle has a 12-1/2 in. seat--see photo--and 5-1/2 in. high cantle--great for colt starting
    solid rawhide covered tree--replaced stirrup leathers and off side fender--old mohair cinch--2 latigo straps
    the horn has been sewn and has had large thread or holes put in it around the edge
    it has the usual scrapes and marks from use and being 100 yrs. old--sheepskin is in poor condition
    saddle is marked in seat--behind cantle--and on each side of skirt--leather is clean and supple and a few surface cracks on skirt area
