This is an original folding, "butterfly" style, advertising fan. It was made by U.O. Colson Co. in Paris, IL and is patented by the company. It is advertising the Potter Lumber & Supply co. in Worthington, Ohio.  It is in very good condition for its age. We believe it dates to the 1930s or before.
