    Description

This listing is for an authentic vintage sample of antique wire fencing.   This wire features a George C. Baker patent, dated February 27, 1883.     This wire is called "Baker's Two Point Barely  Barb on Two Lines"  by collectors.  (ref. Hagemeier 223-B).   This wire features two  twisted together round line wires.    Barbs are two pointed made by wrapping a flat barbing wire once around one line wire.  Barbs are very short or barely exposed.   Wire shows age and use wear with moderate pitting.   There are four barbs, well spaced, and cut is well centered.   There is some bending of barbing points,  but no broken or missing points..  Wire is in  good used condition.
