  • Condition: Antique, worn, used, rustic western saddle for RESTORATION -see photo's. Old RT FRAZIER western work saddle from appx: 1900's era. Worn, retrieved as found--as is from old West Texas barn. Measures appx" 15" from horn to seat back. Again, this is a project piece for restoration and made of quality RT Frazier of Colorado craftsmanship. Needs repairs, re-stitching and cleaning. Here is some history on RT FRAZIER: The first Pueblo saddles were by S.G. Gallup (of Gallup & Gallatin) in 1870. R.T. Frasier went to work for Gallup in 1880 after fighting in the Civil War and a period in the 1870's as Deputy Sheriff in Leadville where he also opened a saddle shop. Taught how to make saddles bu his father, he was an avid researcher and innovator who worked extensively with cowpunchers to create the perfect seat.
