3 Hammersley China Pink Roses #18 English Dessert Salad Plates

We are pleased to offer this set of 3 lovely English porcelain salad/dessert plates, that were most likely part of a larger tea service, manufactured by Hammersley & Company circa 1900. These plates feature hand painted, petite pink roses with green and teal leaves connected by 22k gilt scrolls on a white background. The rim has two 22k gold bands and another ring in the center. These pieces have an impressed HL mark and number 18. In his book, "Encyclopaedia of British Porcelain Manufacturers", G.Godden discusses the HL mark used by the Hammersley factory p.393 and 394.
These dessert/individual cake plates measure 7-1/8" in diameter. All three are in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. Just lovely pieces of vintage English porcelain that you are sure to want to add to your Hammersley China Collection.
